Services supplies liquid water base mud in density ranges from
9.5 to 19.0 ppg from its full service blending and storage facility
in Alice, Texas. In addition to supplying customer requirements
for various densities of liquid water base mud, K-3 Services
supplies customer requirements for drilling mud additives for
maintenance of mud systems during drilling and workover operations.
Our liquid mud plant is strategically located to service the
oil and gas drilling and workover operations conducted in South
Texas. Our plant has the capability of blending 500 bbl. batches
of mud and is equipped with a high volume mud cleaner. All liquid
mud that is brought in or shipped from the plant is run through
the mud cleaner to insure quality.
K-3 Services will blend our liquid water base mud with specific
properties if requested by the customer.
Storage
of Customer Mud Systems:
For those customers who may have multiple drilling prospects,
K-3 Services can offer a storage and maintenance program for
liquid water base mud. Liquid mud can be stored and kept conditioned
at our facility in between drilling of multiple prospects. This
allows the customer to maximize their investment in a particular
mud system on several wells. The stored liquid mud can be weighed
up or cut back to required density and properties can be modified
as needed prior to shipping the mud to a new location.
