K-3BMI
is committed to ensuring the safety of all employees, protection
of property, the safety of our customers and the general public.
Our goal for the future is "be the best in class" in the
waste transport business.
K-3BMI believes that
safety, production, and customer service all go hand-in-hand. A
safe work force is more productive and this translates into better
service for our customers. At K-3BMI,
we realize that are employees are not just numbers on a sheet, they
are people with wives, husbands, children, and friends that expect
to get their loved ones back at the end of the day, in the same
or better condition than when they arrived at work.
K-3BMI has established
a Safety Department. It is the responsibility of this department
to research, implement and provide training for all K3BMI supervision
and employees. K-3BMI
will strive to meet and exceed all mandatory rules, regulations,
and compliances that are required by federal, state, and local authorities,
such as OSHA, DOT, Federal Motor Carrier Rules and Regulations Association
and others. To satisfy this commitment, K-3BMI
maintains a rigorous safety program in which all risks are identified,
documented and controlled.
K-3BMI's Safety Program
is based on the belief that employees and management share equal
responsibility for safety and that all mishaps are preventable -
not inevitable. We believe in a Zero Accident Culture (ZAC). The
goal of ZAC is to eliminate accidents before they happen.
The Safety Department and all safety programs are under the directive
of the Safety and Fleet Manager, Johnny Taylor. "I am committed
and dedicated to creating, implementing and maintaining policies,
programs and training that will involve every employee and supervisor
at K-3BMI"- Johnny
Taylor.

Every K-3BMI employee
has a responsibility for his or her own safety, as well as the safety
of fellow employees and others in the workplace. Employees must become
familiar with the potential hazards of their jobs, safe practices
and procedures and do what is necessary to ensure their safety.
